The First Business Model Competition Has Started
The pandemic period encourages most people and business actors such as SMEs and startups to compete for opportunities to survive. Apart from being aggressively following developments in the trend of public needs, many business actors are starting to move with attention to the conditions and impacts of their businesses on the environment. On a large scale, this movement can encourage the realization of the goals of sustainable development or what is commonly known as SDGs.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global action plan agreed upon by world leaders, including Indonesia, to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the environment. The SDGs contain 17 Goals and 169 Targets that are expected to be achieved by 2030.
The collaboration between the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of the Republic of Korea (MSS) and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia (KUKM) has officially conducted the “KOREA-ASEAN Business Model Competition 2020 for SDGs”.
